    Default Count.cgi Broken since Update

After the latest RELEASE update my counters are showing "broken" image instead of the counter.

I also get a 500 error if I type the counter URL directly...

Any idea what could be wrong?

    Thanks

    Replicated on WHM 9.3.0 cPanel 9.3.0-C103 / RedHat 9 - WHM X v3.1.0.

Just produces a 500 Internal Server Error, but no actual entry in the error log.

    Fixed in WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.0-C12 / RedHat 9 - WHM X v3.1.0 (same server)

The problem with this Count.cgi is never ending. The problem is the permission on that script get changed and i dont know whats doing it. Every so often i have to check the perms on this file to find they have changed. When that happens the script fails. Go to

/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys and chmod 755 Count.cgi. Check all the other .cgi's in this directory and make sure they are all owned by root.wheel and 755. I have to keep going back to this directory weekly to chmod 755 the files again. Crazy!

Iam logging as root. How to make sure that scripts are owned by root ?

If you get that error when you chmod the file then try chattr -i Count.cgi first
