Cpanel 11 Oh My!!
Cpanel 11 / Edge Installed / Apache2 Installed working great suphp / php5.2working great .....Suexe working great the server is a success .....
Cpanel 11 OUTSTANDING piece of workmanship so far with 1 exception...
When I click the contact cpanel thingy to submit a support ticket after completing all the fields and submitting the ticket does not go to cpanel
The "cpanel thingy to submit a support ticket" as you put it is designed for customers to be able to submit support tickets to you, not for you to submit tickets to cPanel. Sorry for any mis-understanding.Originally Posted by procam

Yes, cPanel 11 is great, I'm running it on my brand new provider with that x3 theme. Looks top dollar.
@procam, did u use the new easyapache to configure and install apache 2 ? really no flaws?
does it work with eaccelerator ? the apache 2

Apache 2 and php 5.2 will not work well with lots of opensource apps like all the goodies found in fantastico.
Hmm I wonder how will it impact moving over to CPANEL 11.
How would Apache 2 impact MySQL/PHP-based web apps? I can see it impacting a lot of Apache modules, etc. but Fantastico apps should be fine. Oh, and as for PHP 5... it is rapidly becoming the standard around the web app market. Most new apps actually require it rather than PHP 4.

Just to clarify, Ishware is correct in that cPanel 11 will not automatically force you/migrate your server to use Apache 2 / PHP 5.
