Trying to redirect a domain via cPanel redirection.

mydomain.tld -> http://www.newlocation.tld (not entering the http:// part)

Selecting "Redirect with or without www" and clickling "Add".

when I go to http://www.mydomain.tld, it redirects correctly.
but when I go to http://mydomain.tld, it redirects to:
http://www.http.com//www.newlocation.tld

Any ideas?
