    Default CPanel 8 Problems

    Hi,

My provider upgrade CPanel to CPanel 8.0.0-EDGE 52

The http (apache) server seems to down whenever an account is created.

And for subdomain function, i am now unable to use subdomain redirection function.
I've created a subdomain and use the redirection function, but it just won't redirect. Currently i am using index.php to do the redirection.

    Any advise here?
    Thanks.

Anyway, my provider has just upgrade CPanel again to 8.0.0-EDGE 66

The mailing list problem is solved but the subdomain redirection problem is still not solve yet.

I found out the problem of subdomain redirection.
Normal creation of subdomain and setup subdomain redirection have no problem.

If you addon a domain which create the subdomain, after you setup the subdomain, going to the addon domain will not be redirect only by going directly to the subdomain, you will be redirected.

    Eg.
Addon a domain, xxx.com (xxx.mydomain.com), then i setup subdomain redirection point to yahoo.com.

when type in xxx.mydomain.com, it will go to yahoo.com
but when i type in xxx.com, it will not go to yahoo.com

So there are addon domain problem.

A "Release" means a RELEASE version. If it was stable, they'd say otherwise.

Its only considered a stable once its been activitly used for a month or 2, or until bug reports are very low on that version.
