    Default cpanel backups

is there a way to force cpanel backups to work on a drive that has quotas enabled?

I just dont understand what the fuss is all about with backing up accounts to a seperate directory on a drive that has quotas.

The backups are owned by the user in question. That means that they are counted towards the user's quota, which could push the user over their quota unfairly.

I could set a cron job to chown them..
