    Unhappy cPanel Behind NAT Firewall

We tried running a cPanel server behind a NAT firewall, which we now know is not possible after contacting cPanel and confirming this.

We need to DMZ the cPanel server running apache. Does anyone know if it's possible to configure the internal port as DMZ (via route policy), or will we need to connect the cPanel server directly to the DMZ port on the router?

We are hoping to save us a trip down to the data center.

The firewall we're using is FortiGate. 60B

    Any help would be appreciated.

An option would be to configure the FortiGate in a transparent mode, that way the FortiGate is essentially invisible (not doing NAT Public-Private translation) but you can still get the benefit of firewalling with the FortiGate.

Not sure if that's an option for your scenario or not.
