Default [cPanel Bug]:: Horde Database Migration

    Dear all,

When doing a full migration (with Packages) from one cPanel Server to the other cPanel server, it's proven to not migrate horde kronolith databases along with the migration. However, There's always a manual way to be doing this. I did this alongside a Plesk guide without the psa.shadow key bits and pieces and decided to post a result for you ones, having trouble aswell. But also in the hope this Bug will get fixed in a next patch/bugfix.
Since right now, when doing a migration horde kronoliths are getting ignored (it seems?) and the Calendar function does not function anymore. If you've got a few clients who use this, it's a pain to make them lose all their appointments and/or tasks.

The Website i've used is as follows:

"The mind of a Mad Tech!" » How to migrate Horde (Plesk) address, calendar and perferences.

As i said, psa.shadow keys do not work in cPanel. But it's solely about the exporting of the old databases on the server and importing them on the new. You do not have to purge the horde database completely. Just reimport it and it'll overwrite or create extra records.

    With kind Regards,
    Rene

If you are on the latest versions of cPanel/WHM, then I recommend letting our technical analysts take a look at your servers. This will allow us to determine why the databases were not migrated so corrective action can be taken.
