cPanel CNAME

I have a problem/missunderstanding regarding the CNAME record

I've configured a CNAME record thats look like
x.domain.com IN CNAME z.anotherdomain.com.

The problem is:
When i access x.domain.com i'm redirected to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

Can you help me please?

Anyone from cpanel know a sollution?

Won't work unless "z.anotherdomain.com" is setup as an account on your server
and even then not recommended trying to park alias addresses in that manner.
