cPanel on debian. Problems with /sbin/initlog failed to start

Hello,

I mean that cPanel over debian is fully unsupported, but at this time is possible install over this OS.

I installed cPanel in latest debian-5 stable (lenny) and the script "latest" it seems to finish correctly installing all packages and deps.

But unfortunately doesn´t start any services.

When I try a /etc/init.d/cpanel start (for example):

Anybody can help me fixing this issues?
I know that cPanel (and their support of course) are full in CentOS or RHEL compatible OS, but a customer requires debian + cPanel and then here the troubles.

Of course, I know that Debian is unsupported by cPanel and the working on this OS is difficult.

After many rebuilds, I get cPanel installed in Debian 4.0 stable, but most services such as apache, dns, courier are not managed entirely by cPanel and happens hard issues.
