cPanel DNS host record

Hi,

I had an issue yesterday when the server decided to delete its own hostname record from the dns system... following that it synced imediately with the external backup dns causing my own hostname to go down. I manually recreated it by copying the records of the backup dns server and replacing the names but it has caused other issues.

Is there a way to recreate the hosts dns record via a script? Or can someone send me a template of their own one?
I am finding that emails are not being sent anymore and are instead being held in the mailqueue.

Not sure how the server would "decided to delete" something on its own, but you'd add it back the same way you added it originally. Add the hostname, add and A entry and you're off to the races.

Yeah I dont understand either, normally the hostname record cant be deleted from what I remember.
I was just adding mx records to another domain and suddenly I couldnt connect to the server!
