Hi,
cPanel and whm have gone down all of a sudden, however all the hosted sites are still up and function fine.
When trying to access cPanel through a browser, one gets:
Failed to Connect
The connection was refused when attempting to contact www.idealista.com.au:2082.
It seems this occured at random. All I can think is that I had to force close putty as it froze whilst during an ssh session.
Any idea how to fix? or what could have caused this?
Tried restarting the cPanel service, see output below:
root@syd1-0047dsb [/var/lib/pgsql/data]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel restart
Stopping tailwatchd:

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION
Cpanel::TailWatch::Eximstats appears to have unprocessed SQL in /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.
When mysql is unable to execute a query they are logged for processing later.
Eventually these SQL files may be handled automatically and this message will not appear.
In the meantime you can execute the queries as root with something like this:
mv /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy
/usr/local/cpanel/libexec/tailwatchd --restart
mysql eximstats < /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy
Once you are sure all is well you can remove /var/cpanel/sql/eximstats.sql.tmp_working_copy
