    Default cPanel email notification

    Hello All,

As we know 'cPanel email notification' for BW usage etc. sent from "root@hostname". But I am having third party e-mail firewall in which we have blocked e-mails sent from 'root@hostname', 'username@hostname' to decrease spamming and user should use SMTP authentication while sending e-mails from script.

But due to this 'cPanel email notification' e-mails get blocked in firewall. So is there any way we can change the sending address of this notifications?

    Howdy,

It sounds like the other mail server is blocking due to sender verify rules. This can be overcome but it might get a bit personal (email addresses, hostnames, mail headers). I would recommend opening a ticket with the information which site is getting blocked. We should be able to dig the rest out of Mail Delivery reports and offer you some tips.

    Thanks!
