Default cPanel forum skin looks terrible in Safari

I'm using Safari on Mac OS X (Panther) and the cPanel forum skin looks really bad. I have to scroll down almost two screen heights just to be able to see where the posts are. There's around 600 pixels of whitespace below the main header image then another 100 pixels or so under the cPanel image with the people. Will you please fix this?

Thank god I'm not the only one... I was beginning to think I was losing it

I've posted about this a couple of times and have never had a reply, even from other Mac users. One of my posts includes a screenshot also. I doubt it would be a difficult thing to fix, maybe I'll see if I can do it on a local copy and then submit the fix.

Is there a bug-tracker for the forums?

    Post with screenshot

    regards,

Just took a quick look and it appears to be because they have the first table's height set to 100%. I'm not sure why they would do this since the table will automatically take the size of the image or contents inside of it??

    hehe...some internet explorer leftovers

table height=100% is in no way html valid.

some developers "really" don't give a damn...

interesting thing is that on mozilla/firefox on wndows/linux looks ok, so safari should be ok, as it is mozilla based.

The problem is that Safari is not as forgiving when it finds improper code which is the way browsers should be and will be in the future. Many browsers like IE will correct errors so pages will display properly, which makes it better for the end user and in turn allows coders to have sloppy, invalid code.

Safari is KDE based (like Konqueror). No tie-in to mozilla as best I know..
