    Default cPanel/FTP settings

OK, here is what I'm trying to do, but I don't know if it can work...

My best friend, Mike, is an art student. Mike works with a friend of his from school, Tyson, on some projects. They decided they wanted to get a website, MikeTysonDesign.com. Furthermore, each of them would have their own website, mikelaughead.com and tysonschenk.com.

If possible, since I'm giving them free hosting, I would like to host all three of them on one account, with each of the personal sites being add-on domains. The problem is, I'm not sure if there is a way to set up cPanel/FTP so that both of them could access cPanel/FTP for the main site, and have FTP access for their own directory, but not the other. The reason I don't think this would work is because if they both have access to the root directory, that would give them access to everything under that, including the other person's directory. Is this correct?
