Does cPanel provide a record of IPs that have logged in?

You can check the cpanel access log for more details.

/usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log

Unfortunately, I'm on shared hosting so I cannot access those logs.

You could find the details in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log

I cannot access server root on a shared hosting account - I'm limited to /home/USERNAME/...

I checked on two different hosting providers - both the same - neither shows 'cpanel/logs/login_log'

If you don't have root access, I don't believe there is a way to see all of the logins/login attempts, you just see the last IP that successfully logged in cPanel (it's stored in ~/.lastlogin).
