    Unhappy Cpanel.net Forums Admin/Mod Abuse

    Hello,
I just got banned for like 15 mins for faliure to login cause i had username cpaneladmin for like 3 months or more and all the sudden someone changed my username to a disgusting username called killerid2k

I demand that my original username be put back as if it was reserved than how the hell was i able to register.

This is an unfair act of power and i hope this is corrected asap.

Email i got (geez cannot even spell properly)

    Hello,

been changed from "cpaneladmin" to "killerid2k" because the username

As this is cpanels forum I really can't see how this is a abuse of power. Cpanel owns it and they decide whats fair and whats not.

cpanel staff uses cpanel* names and for you to have a name like that could confuse a regular member causing them to think your a cpanel staff member

And they realized this after 3 months ? Pretty absurd and misuse of power, i was banned for 15 mins and tried to figure out why i couldnt login.

And if its their forums cant they just restrict what username a user using during registeration instead of changing username while i was browsing forums (didnt even care to send me a pm).

Where is the Admin of this forums and how would my name confuse people u think people are dumb that they cannot read Moderator or Admin under the username ?

Well I am guessing the Cpanel people realized that your name is confusing and seems like you are an authority or some kind of moderator here. Makes sense that they would want to restrict a name like that to the real Cpanel team, but I think they could have given you something a little nicer as an alternative.

If you have an issue with the forums, contact billing@cpanel.net directly. Clearly your username is confusing to others and was changed, if you want it to be something else, mention it in your contact with cPanel
