Exclamation Cpanel out of memory problem in sbrk function

    Hi!

My cpanel is showing blank screens or with the following error:

out of memory during "large" request for 4198400 bytes, total sbrk() is 11151360 bytes at cpanel.pl line 4605.
    main::cpanel_parse('GLOB(0x4072360)') called at cpanel.pl line 2912

I'm have set the maximum memory cPanel process can use before it is killed in whm to 1024 but the problem continues.

    Cpanel version: 11.23.3-RELEASE_25133
    Kernel: 2.6.25.4-38.fc9.x86_64
    Cpanel BinCheck ok
    CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+
    4GB of RAM
    RVSkin: no

    What's happening?

    Thanks in advanced!

Centos 64bit, new server showing the same symptoms but in different areas.

    My issue shows:
Out of memory during request for 968 bytes, total sbrk() is 122697728 bytes!

Although I have it set to 256mb. Changing this to 512mb allows the process to finish, but something is definitely going on. I have an open ticket about this, so we'll see

Yes, I opened a ticket in support of cpanel and they said that problem is the hardware. Hard disk or ram memory...
I have asked the data center to make the necessary tests.

    Thanks!

I have the same issue, but I'm unable to get it resolved. cPanel basically said they were unable to reproduce the issue, but anything I'm doing in WHM is generating tons of those errors in the log.

Let me know what the data center does.

    Ok

I will post a message so I have an answer from the data center.

    Thanks!
