I was wondering if someone could help me out? I have been using Cpanel for a couple of months now, adding web accounts by hand. I have firgured out how to add accounts in pearl scripts.

My problem is, how do I add an ftp account using a perl script? my server is currently running redhat enterprise 3 i686 with pure-ftpd. I would like to know if I was to add an FTP account to pure-ftpd directly? Would this create problems in cpanel for the FTP control interface? Does anyone have an example of how to do this?

I have been trying to figure this out for most of the day, any help would be greatly appreciated.
