    Default cPanel Training Seminar

To everyone who helped make the first annual cPanel Training Seminar in Houston a success, THANK YOU!

A great time was had by all who attended and everyone learned new and useful things about the most powerful
control panel suite in the industry. The seminar went off VERY well thanks to the efforts of the cPanel staff,
so well in fact, that we are planning on having one in 2007. As enjoyable as our first seminar was, we are planning
to make the second one even better!

In the meantime though, we look forward to seeing everyone again in July at HostingCon in Las Vegas.

Are these "new and useful" things going to be shared to everyone else? It would not be very fair for those that could not attend to be left in the dark.

Of course it would be fair!

In my opinion, the seminar nicely covered a fair amount of general topics with which many experienced admins, such as yourself DG, will already be very familiar.

The only brand shiny new feature covered in any detail, as far as I could tell, was the very detailed presentation by Dan Muey on the inner workings of the new easyapache. I'd be greatly impressed if anyone could actually regurgitate even half of it!

Eric - would we be allowed to share the contents of the CDs we were supplied with?

Of course, share away :-) I'm waiting on presentation notes and various other tidbits from our staff members that did presentations so I can send them out to anyone interested. I just want to have everything in a cohesive fashion prior to sending so this might take a little while, but rest assured, it will be done :-)

    Have a good one...

    Eric

PS: I'm also going to get something setup where the CD contents can be posted for all to download.

If anyone has any other suggestions or anything please let me know.

That sounds great. Some of us live in other countries, you know.

Excellant too hear Eric. It's good to see cPanel doing these types of things. The more info available for admins and such the better.

A suggestion for next year would be to do a webinar along with it, so people from all over can join in remotely.

As for the CD, I can offer free space and bandwidth to you guys for a mirror download if you'd like.

So long as you can handle the strain - the CD contents are 4.14MB!

Heh... It's primarily slides from the seminar, nothing too intense :-)
