cPanel vps optimized?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what the difference is between cPanel VPS optimized and the regular version? The regular version is a lot more expensive, why is that?
Do you think cPanel should just make one license and distribute it evenly?

cPanel VPS Optimized is for VPS servers.

cPanel/WHM Accelerated is for Dedicated Servers, which generally have more resources available to them.

Both are functionally identical, but the VPS optimized version will automatically optimize itself for VPS environments. VPS licenses cannot be used on dedicated servers.
