Default cPanel / WHM SSL login issue

I just purchased a SSL certificate from Xramp, and installed it into my server. The site I'm using is hostname.mydomain.com. When I go to https://hostname.mydomain.com, everything works fine, it pulls up the default Apache page. However, when I do https://hostname.mydomain.com:2087 I get:
There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

You need to do Change Server Certificates as well, and then assign the certificate you installed earlier for use by WHM.

Well, I just tried that, and it seems to have made no difference.... I even tried deleteing the SSL, running change cert, then reinstalling the ssl, and still no change.

I think you may need to restart the cpanel service too (so that WHM can restart with the new cert)
    Code:
    service cpanel restart

I finally found the answer. After you do the above (install the SSL through cPanel, change server cert, etc.)

Take /usr/local/cpanel/etc/mycpanel.pem, remove the contents, and replace it with the certificate, the complete chain for the cabundle, and the key ( in that order ).

    Then run /usr/local/cpanel/startup

All should work now. If not try a "service cpanel stop", then "service cpanel start"
