Cpanel/WHM updating despite "never update" in config

I had some problems last month when one of my servers unexpectedly upgraded to version 11 and pretty much crippled my server until I rolled it back to 10. After that, I changed my config so that CPanel would NEVER auto update on any of my servers.

Earlier in the week, one of my other servers updated over night. Today, two others did.

How in the world is this possible?

How can I absolutely lock this thing down so it doesn't install an update that isn't going to work on my system??

Has anyone else changed to a different control panel? I'm open to recommendations at this point.

yes my server is update to cpanel and whm.

update config is cPanel/WHM Updates NEVER , cPanel Package Updates and Security Package Updates Automatic.

cPanel and WHM update last version.
now i dont have any problem but why cpanel and WHM update automatic.

Now im no techie or anything

(just an idea) but maybe it see's cPanel 11 as a security package update, and updates because of that?
Course, i could be totally wrong

I think this was a small bug as ours did this one time as well. The next update fixed it. (It seems) No auto updates since that one time.
