    Default Cpanel Zombie Processes

    Cpanel lately has been producing Zombie processes 1 or two every couple hours then they disapear is this normal ?

    I too have been seeing the same thing.
    cpsrvd as been showing one defunct process which (by the output of pstree) is a child process of the main cpsrvd process. It does not seem to affect the running of the service as far as I can tell.

    Has anyone else had this issue, and/or found what the cause is?

    Yeah I was just wondering why it started to do this, I see no performance hits from it though
