cpbackup script throwing errors every morning

This has been happening almost every night for a couple of weeks, it's only one account that errors and is usually a different one every morning.

"The backup of xxxxxx's account encountered errors
Please check /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log and /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/1239861602.log for more information."

In the cpbackup log this is where it errors -

Copying homedir..../bin/gtar: ./bin/ls: Cannot open: Permission denied
/bin/gtar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Notification => admin@xxxxx.com via EMAIL [level => 2]
