Question cpbackup - server time - cron time

    Hi Folks,

From WHM > Server Time I've set my server time to Europe/Madrid (Time zone is known as CET)

In my cron I've got this line:
    0 1 * * * /scripts/cpbackup

Every morning just after 7:00 CET I get an email notification - [cpbackup] Backup complete...

    The email starts:
[cpbackup] Started at Fri Mar 7 07:00:01 2008

This seems to imply the script isn't starting at 01:00 as per the cron, but at 07:00?

Any ideas why that should be?

    kamm...

    Default

Looks like the solution to this is:

    In shell,
    /etc/init.d/crond restart

Which brings cron into to sync with server time
