cpbandwd taking up 99% memory and 60%+ CPU

Hi,

We're having problems in which cpbandwd is taking up huge amounts of memory and CPU usage. The server was the target of a DDoS attack earlier last night. Could we remove logs to prevent cpbandwd from parsing them? I tried backing up and clearing /var/log/messages and several other logs, but it did not appear to help.

Any suggestions?

Tried updating cPanel:

==> Starting cpbandwd (bandwidth monitoring for IMAP/POP)

Seems like it's stuck somewhere?
