cpsrvd failed

cpsrvd failed @ Wed Nov 22 18:17:06 2006. A restart was attempted automagicly.

I'm regularly receiving such message from my vps.
Any idea what are the causes?

Would be useful if you could provide a bit more info about your setup, e.g. which tree of cPanel which OS & basic spec of your VPS.

I had a problem similar on a fedora VPS running CURRENT, turned out it was mailman causing the crash (dont ask me how mailman would crash cpsrvd but running /scripts/reinstallmailman cured it)
