    Default CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage

Inside here there is a user called 68 (below) this isn't an account i have made.

    root
    68
    avahi
    mailman
    mysql
    dbus
    mailnull
    named
    nobody

Which ones of these are used by either CentOS or cPanel/WHM?

    Thanks in advance.

root is the system administrator (admin user)

avahi is used by Avahi http://avahi.org/wiki/AboutAvahi which is allegedly a part of Fedora Core, maybe it has propagated to CentOS by now. This is not bundled with cPanel/WHM.

mailman is used by mailman (Mailing Lists)

mysql is used by MySQL (Database)

dbus is used by D-Bus, http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/dbus. IIRC, this is used by CentOS. This is not bundled with cPanel/WHM.

mailnull is used by Exim (Mail)

named is associated with named/BIND (DNS). While not bundled with cPanel/WHM, it is used by cPanel/WHM.

nobody is a user that is commonly used on shared hosting systems. For example, if you do not run SuExec or SuPHP, CGI and PHP scripts will execute as user nobody.

As for user 68, I am not familiar with that user.

It is my understanding (from performing an internet search for "Avahi RHEL5") that RHEL 5 installs Avahi by default.
