create database programaticly with php

I have a reseller account and I am trying to set up an automated script that sets up an account automaticaly that includes a php program I wrote. All is well except I cannot figrure out how to create a database programaticly. My search of the forums indicates that the question has been asked before but answered using a PM. Anyone have a suggestion?

Only root can create MySQL databases.
