Creating Accounts Without Creating Packages First

I just changed datacenters. Both use WHM 10.1.0 and cPanel 10.2.0.

The new datacenter WHM does not allow me to Create a New Account unless:

(1) I first create a "Package"
(2) I assign a "Package" to the new account at the time of creation.

This is a YOKE around account creation. It ties me down in that I will have to make up a million separate packages, because each account created needs modification depending on client needs. If I create a "Package" then create a new account (based on a "Package"), if I need to modify an account later, the current WHM configuration only allows me to change from one "Package" to another "Package". I do not have 'real' control over each account separately.

HOW can the WHM panel be configured so I can create accounts without using any predesigned/predesignated "Packages"???

Is this something I can do (with my reseller account), or is it something that must be done by the provider???

The level of control you have over account creation through your reseller account is dependent on the privilges assigned by the root user.

Therefore this is an issue you'd need to take up with your provider.
