Default creating an addon domain creates 2 folders in public html for no reason

if i create a domain name

    without www.

    mydomain.com

it works as expected creating a folder

    mydomain.com folder

in public html for the domain

but if i create the domain puting www.

    www.mydomain.com

    cpanel creates 2 folders

    mydomain.com

    www.mydomain.com

with and without www. the one without www. is empty and the www. folder contains the cgi folder

so apparently the folder without www. as it is empty is some kind of bug and can be deleted isn it.

    thanks
