Cron not saving for one account

I am unable to add a cronjob on one specific account, I have tested this on other accounts and it works fine. On this account you’ll place the cronjob and it will say updated successfully and you go back and it’s blank. What could be going on? I have no idea where to look.

I have tried looking at the cron logs but i dont see anything, maybe I am in the wrong log?

The local path for cron files is: /var/spool/cron
Make sure this client's cron file is there. Whenever you change or create a new cronjob, you need to restart crond. Hope this helps!

It seems to work when I place the cron command there but everything erases when you change something in cpanel, it is just this guys account, it works for others. He said it was working before I tried to add a new line in. I also tried removing that file but it didn’t work still resulted in no update for his cron
