And there are a lot more, 3k +

The problem is that i do not know that is trying to execute that cron, owned by root. Anyone have any trouble like this one with crond ?

Track down these processes by running this command at the prompt:
    /usr/sbin/lsof -t -i:PID
    then
    /sbin/service crond restart

It happend again today, but that command does nothing, not show anything on screen. I have to stop the crond service for a while. There is another way to track a process ?
