Cronjobs

this may sound a bit daft, but i have just moved all my accounts from one server to another.

and i now have a cron job lost somewhere, i'm wanting to remove it. but i can't find it!


I'm continually getting an email about it (one a minute) and its getting very annoying

Doesn't it show up if you do
crontab -e
?
You could also check cron.daily, etc. in the /etc directory.

don't forget client cron jobs are stored at /var/spool/cron/

having a similar issue.... i can not find the the cronjob in anywhere.

The answer that Faldran gave a year and a half ago is still correct, that's where the crontab files are stored on a server.

i understand that... what i am saying is there is a cronjob error email i am getting and i can not find the cronjob in any of the files related to cronjobs on my server...

so again i ask, any other ideas??

You didn't ask that question before and that does not relate to this old thread. Please don't dig up old threads in the forum, it is considered rude.

As above, all the user crontabs are in /var/spool/cron/ the rest are in the usual place on a server running vixiecron, i.e. etc/cron.*
