Default Customers email goes to root mailbox

    Strange problem here.

Customer was moved from one server to another. Since then, all mail to their domain has been routed to the root mailbox instead of the customer's default mailbox.

I made sure the account was removed from the previous server - still same problem.

I removed the account and recreated it - still same problem.

    baffled. Any ideas ?

Zone file looks fine for the domain.

    Ran the mailbox fixup script.

    Problem persists.

    Added a new mailbox test@thedomain

this works fine. Its just the default mailbox for the domain that seems to forward to the root mailbox.

Incidentally, the default mailbox hasnt been changed and no forwarders are in place.
