Default daemons not restarting on fail

Recently, my server stopped attempting to restart daemons that fail. Is there a daemon in charge of this, and is it possible that this daemon failed? What is it? What can I check?

Yes, make sure that chkservd is running:

    service chkservd restart

Also, check that you have monitoring enabled for all relevant services in WHM > Service Manager.
