    Default Daily Error Email - Cron run-parts /etc/cron.daily

    Hi there,

    I got a new VPS a few days ago, and each day, I'm getting the following email/error:

    /etc/cron.daily/logrotate:

    error: conman:21 error verifying olddir path /var/log/conman.old/: No such file or directory
    /etc/cron.daily/prelink:

    /usr/bin/ldd: line 161: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: cannot execute binary file
    Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this and stop the error from happening?

    Thanks,

    Stephen

    Log in as root and run "crontab -e" and see if there is anything strange... If you're not sure just post it's contents up here.

    Also I would try a "/scripts/upcp --force" and see if that helps.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your reply. I ran the first command and here are the contents:

    PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin

    Code:
    24 1 * * * /scripts/upcp
    0 1 * * * /scripts/cpbackup
    0 2 * * * /scripts/mailman_chown_archives
    35 * * * * /usr/bin/test -x /usr/local/cpanel/bin/tail-check && /usr/local/cpan$
    3,18,33,48 * * * * /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/dnsqueue > /dev/null 2>&1
    30 */4 * * * /usr/bin/test -x /scripts/update_db_cache && /scripts/update_db_ca$
    45 */8 * * * /usr/bin/test -x /usr/local/cpanel/bin/optimizefs && /usr/local/cp$
    */5 * * * * /usr/local/cpanel/bin/dcpumon >/dev/null 2>&1
    2,58 * * * * /usr/local/bandmin/bandmin
    0 0 * * * /usr/local/bandmin/ipaddrmap
    1 0 * * * /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/cpaddons_report.pl --notify
    0 6 * * * /scripts/exim_tidydb > /dev/null 2>&1
    I thought I'd best post that up here before running the second command, just in case there's anything you spot? If not, I'll happily run that to see if it stops those daily emails. :-)

    Thanks,

    Stephen
