Dedicated Mail Server

Can't find a reference for this in the CPanel docs or the forums, but figured I'd ask anyway:

Is is possible to setup a dedicated mail server that can be assigned to new signups separate from the web hosting server?

Ideally, I would like one mail server that would be shared by domains on several shared hosting servers or VPSs.

This isn't currently possible, although I believe there's a feature request somewhere for it; try searching for cluster.
