    Default default charset

    Hey, default charset of cPanel is iso-8859-1? How to change it? I tried with AddDefaultCharset in httpd.conf but not working.

    Note, cPanel/WHM/Webmail pages are not served by Apache, so Apache settings will have no impact.

    If I recall correctly, in the language file, there should be a charset= line where the character set is specified. This will affect HTTP headers as well.

    Well in language file i have:

    CHARSET=iso-8859-2

    but when i log in to cPanel firefox shows: iso-8859-1 why?

    Firefox has an unusual way of handling character sets. You may want to join the theme developers list at:
