    Default delay?

    I am trying to create an account in WHM hten ftp to it right away, it get this message....
    USER testing
    331 Password required for testing.
    PASS
    530 Login incorrect.
    Error logging on to: ****************

    is there a delay and if so how long?

    You can edit your previous posts you know.....


    After you add a new account, FTP access should be immediate unless there is a server configuration problem. The account addition script writes or creates the required files for the FTP server immediately.

    Also try syncronize ftp passwords. If that don't work then I'd say check /etc/passwd and see if anything looks screwed up.
