Delete Subdomain

When I try and add a subdomain on one of my accounts it says the subdomain already exists, though it's not in the list to delete.

What file holds this information that I can manually look at?

(This problem was caused when i renamed a domain and username to another domain and username, then backed up the original)

Thanks

I would start with checking your /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and see if it is in a VirtualHost container.
