Deleting Subdomain

Hi,

I have problem deleting my subdomain entries from CPanel.

Currently using Cpanel 8.

Problem: (example)
- Addon domain xyz.com on xyz.mydomain.com
- Remove addon domain xyz.com (subdomain still there)
- Remove ftp user xyz
- Delete directory xyz in mydomain.com

Now, in the subdomain management in CPanel. xyz is in the dropdown list for me to choose to delete. After i choose and delete. Message is successful deleted. Checked WHM, no more xyz subdomain. xyz.mydomain.com cannot be accessed. But xyz is still in the subdomain management.

Please advise how can i remove the xyz subdomain from the subdomain management.

Almost 2 years and it still does this. Anyone find a way to fix?

When I deleted the addon domain, it didn't remove the stuff for it in....

1. httpd.conf
2. /var/cpanel/users/your-main-domains-username

Removing the addon domain from /var/cpanel/users/your-main-domains-username will get rid of the subdomain from showing up in Cpanel.


When I deleted the addon domain, it also didn't delete the following files for the addon domain...

1. All of the /etc/vmail/*addon-domain-here.com files

2. /etc/valiases/addon-domain-here.com

3. /etc/vfilters/addon-domain-here.com

4. /usr/local/apache/domlogs/addon-domain-here.com

5. /usr/local/apache/domlogs/addon-domain-here.com-bytes_log
