DirectAdmin to CPanel

Does anyone have experience converting a DirectAdmin server into a CPanel server.

I do NOT mean converting accounts. This is a server without any accounts, but has DirectAdmin as the control panel. I'd like to use CPanel instead of DirectAdmin on this server.

Any documentation? Is this possible without OS reload?

I think it is possible, just remove everything manually (DA, apache, mysql, ...) and then install cPanel.

You could certainly try and remove all of the files, make sure to also clear out all the cronjobs. Depending on how expensive a restore is you may just try to. If its cheap a quick restore may save you some trouble down the road.

I'll be really surprised if you'll get stable system after removing DA, Apache, MySQL and any other filers suggested here. DA, like the cPanel, changes the environment of the system. Formatting the HD/OS reload is the best option to get a clean and stable system.

i second that
