Default Directory Alias in WHM or Cpanel

I am wondering if anyone out there can help me?

I need a way to create a 'directory alias' in cPanel/WHM.

This feature is a standard feature in apache (mod_alias), but I don't see anything in cpanel/WHM that allows us to do it?

I can do the manual changes into the apache config file, but it will be overwritten by cpanel, when it rebuilds the vhost config file

The mod_alias is a way to map a web address to any directory, like http://domain.com/shop to any physical folder/directory in the server.

If this feature is available in cpanel/WHM, can anyone please provide instruction on where/hoe to access it or set it up? I wopuld be greatly appreciative.

You can enable custom modules in Apache by following guidelines here. To add custom directives to httpd.conf without them being overwritten by any update, you can check this link.
1 solution works for all problems. Trying harder!
