Directory Listings for www folder

Hello!

I've used the control panel Index manager for a domain to turn off directory listings for all subfolders but there's no way to do it for the www folder itself. If you click on current folder it just reloads the page. please tell me if i'm missing something obvious (probably)

The www is just a symbolic link.

so can you not turn off directory indexing on the public_html folder?

Just put this line

Options -Indexes

in your .htaccess file in the public_html directory. If you don't have a .htaccess file, just create one.
