    Default Disable catch-all email address

Is there a way in cpanel or whm to make the default account stop recieving email for an address that doesn't exist? Example: I create an account in whm called test123 for domain test123.com. In the email section of cpanel, it says "All unrouted mail will be sent to: test123" Is there a way to turn this off and just have it bounce back email that was sent to a non-existent address? Because with that virus going around, im getting a bunch of email to joe@mydomain.com or john@mydomain.com which don't exist but are being accepted by my default account.

Set up a second POP account, and then set up forwarders for the aliases you want to receive mail to point to the new POP. As for the old POP (test123), set up a forwarder for that one to :blackhole: (exactly as shown). This will discard mail not specifically to an alias. You could use :fail: instead, but this will cause a bounce message for each piece of mail that hits it, maybe causing high mail loads.

You might also use the default address specification instead of a forward for the 'test123' account. Should also work, but there may or may not be other issues using this...
