    Default Disappearing RPMs?

Hello. I have twice now installed an RPM only to find it uninstalled a day later. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Cpanel updates? hackers? Those are about your only two choices.

Could you elaborate please? I am relatively new to cPanel administration and have yet to learn all its intricacies. Is it possible that some type of cPanel update feature could be causing this? If so, where do I go for more information on this?

As to your second option -- I don't think so. I've inspected the server quite thorougly as I initially thought the same thing, but I've yet to find a single sign of any intrusion (chkrootkit, common command file sizes, strange users and/or home directories, unusual ports open, log activity, etc, etc).
