Disk Quota Question
Hello,
I have searched the forum and read lots of posts about how cPanel deals with MySQL usage and its disk quota. Unfortunately these posts are very old and may not apply anymore. I am just curious about how the current version of cPanel is handling things. On cPanels index page (x3) the "Disk Space Usage" (in the stats section)... does its count include MySQL database storage? I noticed that in the "Disk Space Usage" page there doesnt seem to be any mention of MySQL usage in the breakdown, but there is a mysterious "other" label. If the disk space usage, when combined with MySQL usage, exceeds account quota will the user see a warning in cpanel? |

cPanel does not includes the mysql database disk space used. It just calculates the disk space used of /home/cPanel_username (root diretcory) for the account.

You can get the mysql databases quota to be included in the user's quota if you want, but this is not setup by default. Since most databases are small, this is not usually done.
