DNS Only Secure?

Hi,

Does a cPanel DNS Only installation require as much security (CSF, etc.) as a regular cPanel installation? Or is the DNS Only implementation more secure because there are less services to exploit?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

run a firewall and only open the ports that need to be open
