DNS Problem

Hi,

I am trying to set up a new server.

I added NS.MYDOMAIN.COM and NS2.MYDOMAIN.COM

When clicking on "Nameserver IPs" in WHM it says:

Ip Nameserver
72.xxx.xx.xxx NS.MYDOMAIN.COM
72.xxx.xx.xxy NS2.MYDOMAIN.COM

which seems correct.

resolv.conf says:
nameserver 72.xxx.xx.xxx
nameserver 72.xxx.xx.xxy

Then I went to godaddy.com to point MYDOMAIN.COM to the nameservers,
NS.MYDOMAIN.COM and NS2.MYDOMAIN.COM.

But it says:
Field Validation Error

Please correct the following issue(s):


Unavailable error in field Host name1
Unavailable error in field Host name2


What is wrong? Am I missing a step here?

Did you create the nameservers with Godaddy? There is a seperate screen and function to create it first, before you can use it. Under Domain Host Summary.

No, I did not create a nameserver with godaddy. Where exactly is that screen located?
